Mr Jianbing

Jianbing are similar to crêpes, and they originate from northern China. This simple and savory dish has spread throughout cities all over China and has become one of the country’s most popular street breakfast foods.

The main ingredients of jianbing are a batter of wheat and grain flour, freshly scrambled eggs and a selection of sauces. It can be topped with different fillings such as crispy fried crackers, chopped vegetables, spring onion, coriander, and a variety of different sauces. The ingredients are all rolled and folded several times before serving.
